DESCRIPTION

Discovery Scuba Diving is an introductory program designed for those who want to experience scuba diving without committing to a full certification course. It allows participants to explore the underwater world in a safe and controlled environment, under the supervision of a PADI certified instructor.

Lors d'une expérience de plongée sous-marine Discovery, les participants apprennent les consignes de sécurité de base et l'utilisation de l'équipement, puis effectuent une plongée guidée en eaux peu profondes. Ce programme est parfait pour les débutants qui souhaitent avoir un avant-goût de la plongée avant de poursuivre une certification supplémentaire, comme le cours PADI Open Water Diver.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

During a Discovery Scuba Diving experience, participants learn basic safety guidelines and equipment usage, followed by a guided dive in shallow waters. This program is perfect for beginners looking to get a taste of diving before pursuing further certification, such as the PADI Open Water Diver course.

Prerequisites: None

Minimum age: 10 years

Maximum depth: 12 meters 

ORGANIZATION

Please arrive at the dive center La Perle Noire by 7:30 a.m, where the instructor will welcome you. A pool session of approximately 1 hour is sceduled. 

The taxi will leave at 8:45 a.m. to take you to the marina. The boat will leave at 9:30 a.m. for the dives. Lunch will be served on board during a surface break of one hour. Return to the diving center is scheduled around 3 p.m.

Note that the pool session is not necessary if you have already completed a first dive in the last year.
