The shop has its own boat; the TAU, with its two outboard engines of 150 horsepower each, it has the opportunity to go regularly to the most interesting dive sites in the south of the island.
Cozumel is a great place for divers of all skill levels. The warm, crystal-clear waters of the island provide excellent underwater visibility, making it easy to see the colorful marine life. Currents are generally gentle, making diving easy and enjoyable. In addition, Cozumel offers a variety of dive sites, which makes it possible to discover new underwater landscapes with each dive.
Cenotes hold immense cultural and historical significance to the Mayan civilization, serving as sacred sites for rituals and ceremonies. These natural sinkholes are formed when limestone collapses, revealing access to the vast underground river systems that flow beneath the Yucatan Peninsula.
Blackwater Cozumel by Robert Stansfield Blackwater diving is a night dive in open ocean, away from a reef, over deep water. We aim for 3 kilometers away from the shore where the sea floor is over 1000 feet away.
